Capturing and processing real images

You need a M4088 B/W camera connected to the XS40 board (see apendix C for connections)

  1. Configure the XS40 with the frg_not.bit file.
  2. Select Camera from the Configuration menu. With this option you can set the configuration registers of the camera (see datasheet of the camera) or you can click on the default button. If you check the Preview box then one frame per second is captured and displayed allowing an easy adjust of the camera.

 

  1. Click on the Capture button. Then a frame is captured and displayed. The frame is stored in bank0, so you can use the Image Process button as usual.
